It's a boy!!

And in this corner...

Weighing in at 11 lbs, 6 ounces, 21 inches long...
Oliver Robert Nicholas Krebs!!

The story begins at 5:30 am on Monday, April 9th, 2007. I was sleeping peacefully when I awoke to contractions. Having awoken to contractions before, I ignored them, and promptly went into the kitchen for some early morning fuel. After gobbling down a bowl of cereal and a huge glass of milk, I went back to bed.

However, I could not fall back asleep. The pains were too intense for me to rest comfortably. Hmmm, this is new, I thought, as I took out my phone and began timing them.

An hour later they were still coming, and at a rate of between 6-8 minutes apart. I woke Lee up and told him to expect to miss work. He sleepily asked if he could rest a little longer. I tried to do the same, but they were getting more intense. I got up, took a hot shower, ate a little more, and then called Ellen. After speaking with her I decided to keep my doctor's appointment that morning. We called Devon, who picked Monkey up and took her to work with him, and then went in to see about these pains, which were now about 4-5 minutes apart. Oh yes, and they hurt.

When we arrived at the doctor's office they saw us immediately and Dr. Giovine said, "you may want to go to the hospital when you get a chance. We will meet you there." So we did, we stopped home, got the camera, got lost a few times, and arrived at the hospital with the contractions about 3-5 minutes apart.

Here we are at the hospital:

We were sent into a room right away, as our doctor had called ahead, and Lee began to set up the birthing tub while I began breathing in earnest.

It took a long time to fill, but once it was done, I was very happy to be in it. I stayed in it for most of the labor, the water helped a lot. We tried a few other labor tricks, such as walking around, and even danced up and down the hallway together, but in the end, I really wanted to be back in the water.

So things went swimmingly. The nursing team I had were very open to an all natural birth, and didn't even make me use a Heparin Lock. They monitored me with a Doppler when I was in the water, and didn't make me sit through more than the initial 20 minute monitoring when we arrived. I labored in the tub until I hit transition. When I started having contractions that came in couplets and triplets and required all my concentration to breathe through I got out of the tub. I would have loved to continue in it, but the water height was such that I couldn't keep my face out of it any longer.

We moved to the bed and I hugged the back of it until it was time to push. One of the nurses working with me was a massage therapist, and she began using massage and counter pressure to help lower the intensity of the transactions. I was really feeling the pain, the contractions were so intense that I felt compelled to try and escape my body. There was a point when moaning turned to screaming, and I distinctly remember telling Lee that "I would really like to leave my body now" about the time I hit 8 1/2 centimeters.

From then on, it was a very short labor. I started needing to push not too long after she told me I was 8 1/2 centimeters, and began pushing without thought not too long after that. When it was clear I was really needing to push, Dr. Levy had me flip over and sit, so we could deal with any shoulder dystocia if the problem arose. He crowned very quickly, and then, just when I truly began to understand the phrase "ring of fire" the contractions stopped. Here he was, head half out of me, and my body slowed things down so I could push him out without serious damage. Of course, I began to feel the need to crab crawl backwards up the bed to get away from the pain left by a half in, half out head, so I was less than pleased with my body's decision at the time. However, I did get to reach down and feel his head a few times. Finally, I had a really strong contraction, we began pushing again, I began screaming, and wonderfully, out he popped!!

It felt so great to have him out!! Dr. Levy put him on my stomach, and I looked at his purpley screaming body while I heard "Wow, what a big baby! Wow, what a huge cord! Okay dad, this cord is really thick, you are going to have to use a lot of pressure to cut it!" Then I pushed out the placenta, which we both looked at and touched. (Such a cool feeling!!)

It was about this time that I began shaking fairly uncontrollably, so they brought warm blankets and cleaned Otter up and brought him back to me.

Here Otter and I are with Dr. Levy and the nurses who helped us through it all.

A slightly fuzzy three of us!

A brand new Big Sister!!

Me and my babies!

I didn't know he was an 11 lb baby until a few hours later, when they were wheeling me up to recovery. On the way, the nurse who measured him came out with his chart to tell us his weight, glanced at the chart, said "Let me double check this on the scale", and came back out saying, "Nope, it was right, 11 lbs 6 ounces. Was this a natural birth?"

It was about that time I started getting the rock star comments. I also better understood my need to scream.

We are both home, and he is a happy baby boy, very serious and very hungry! I am glad I got to have a natural birth, even though he was such a big baby.

It's all about the belly...

WARNING! The following post contains pure, unadulterated baby belly shots!! Much skin is visible, though it's not exciting enough to get a mention on Fox.

Okay, so you have all heard how huge I am... I guess I am brave enough to share the actual images.

This is me, today, at almost 41 weeks. Monkey stayed over at Ellen and Dan's, so we got a little dressed up and went to dinner at the Olive Garden. I know it's a chain, but it's a chain I can love with flavors I crave. Oh yes, and Breadsticks.

This is me in my jammies. We are frankly shocked at how large the belly has grown. My own zip code here I come!!

Here is some full frontal belly. My belly is 52 inches around at it's proudest point! He is gonna be a big baby. Big, big baby.

I am maintaining a decent mood, thanks to Lee's willingness to purchase the second season of Veronica Mars and have it shipped to me overnight, and his ever loving foot massaging hands. Yay foot massages! The very pregnant woman's very best friend!!

We meet with the Doctor on Monday. If I have not gone into labor before then, we will discuss a "plan" for induction. I will try and put it off as long as possible, but even so, the baby will be had on or around tax day at the very latest.

And now onto some cute Monkey pictures, she has been growing a lot too! She is doing very well in school, is in the top reading group in her class, and is constantly scoring perfect scores on her tests, of which they have many. (I don't remember tests in Kindergarten. Does anyone else?)

Here she is with Lily Jane. She was such a patient little girl. She just loved holding this little bundle of joy!!

Here she is on her way to school a few says ago, all dressed up with poofy hairballs and clippy's. Her newest favorite word is "totally". As in, "They are totally the cutest hair ties ever mom, Totally."

She was very disappointed that I did not go into labor on Sunday, but seems to have recovered now. We are resting, cleaning, and preparing for the baby. She is on Spring Break this week, so I am going to try my very best to get up and about with her. Ice cream shop visits, walks on the beach, maybe even kite flying. We shall see.

Castor oil doesn't work for me...

At all!! Nope, not a bit. I am still pregnant. Getting more pregnant every day!! Oh boy yes am I pregnant!! You know what I never want to do again?? Get pregnant!!!!

Let's see, updates and news from the hugely, massively, was just given my own zip code, pregnant.

Well... I fell and hit my head on a chair at the beginning of the week, so I have been lying down with a headache and ice on my skull watching Veronica Mars for three days. (Ben, thank you for Veronica Mars, I have now purchased the second season, as I finished the first in your estimated three day time frame.) I had the doctor look at the head injury and she thinks I bruised it far beneath the skin and should just take it easy. For the most part, I can move around for about an hour now before I get a headache and want to go lie down. Yesterday I added a stuffy nose to the increasing list of late pregnancy discomforts.

I have managed to gain nine pounds in six days. I am assured by highly qualified medical personnel that this is water weight gain, however, my doctor may have been trying to talk me down off a ledge when she made that assurance as I was completely freaking out. (I mean come ON, that is a pound and a half a day!!) However, I am inclined to believe her due to the cocktail sausage-esque nature of my toes and fingers. It's a good thing I can't really see my feet. It is also a good thing that I removed my aircraft grade titanium wedding band and engagement ring many months ago, as there are no area hospitals with the tools required to cut them off.

Monkey has caught a cold or something and has been tucked into bed with a fever and many kisses. We are supposed to go to Ellen's and dye Easter Eggs tomorrow, so I am hoping she is better when we wake up. If not, it will be the broken caring for the sick as I hobble between her room and mine. (Another day wishing my mother were here. Oh mom, why did I move so far away?)

I did leave the house today for the aforementioned visit with the doctor, so I met Lee for lunch at his office and got a new shirt at Marshalls. It is a lovely shirt, that sadly, does not make me look smaller. Of course, this is because nothing would make me look smaller, except perhaps standing me next to the Titanic, or the Goodyear Blimp, or another similarly large object. There is no more masking the enormity of my belly with "sleek" black maternity clothes and trying for cute. I am officially huge. My very face and neck look pregnant. I have grown past the capacity of most of my maternity clothes and am considering living in my pajama's for the next several days.

I may have to consider the fact that I may the first woman in history who never actually goes into labor. Ellen's husband Dan assures me a very good living on the talk show circuit if that is the case, so I suppose every cloud has a silver lining.

We go back to visit the doctor on Monday, if I am still in this state of advanced gestation, and we will "develop a plan" at that time. This is doctor speak for, "Sorry you spent $400.00 on a birthing tub for an all natural water birth, but if we have to induce you there is no way you are giving birth in the water." Sigh. I should have considered that before investing in the tub, but maybe I can jump up and down a lot tomorrow and go into labor that way.

Hope all is well with everyone,

Yours patiently waiting to deliver in New Jersey.

Ick and still nothing...

SO Castor oil isn't as gross as it's cracked up to be!

If you don't mind your mouth being coated with an oily substance that never seems to go away. We had a lot of contractions last night, but nothing came of them. However, at the doctor this morning we learned that we are still 3 centimeters, have plenty of amniotic fluid, and the baby is fine. We got to see his little hands and face, and more of his penis. He is clearly a boy. His heart rate is good, the Non-stress test was good. The swelling and such that I had has gone down, so things look good.

Of course, in 5 days they are going to start talking induction, though they will let me go another 2 weeks before they demand it. However, I am really going to try for natural childbirth and the water birth, so more Castor oil and orange juice for me today.

It did nothing yesterday, but I can hope today will be different.

I will keep you all updated!!

This morning when I dropped Monkey off at school I walked into her classroom and the entire class said "Oh No!!" The teacher explained they had all been hoping she wasn't there on time because I was having the baby. There is something odd about having an entire class of 5 year olds commiserate with you when you are overdue, it was pretty funny.

In the mopes...

No baby, but no tears...

Just a little mopey. I am too far away from the stabilizing influence of my mother to withstand an "overdue" baby without moping. If I were with her there would be shopping, and tea, and sympathy to take my mind of the ever growing belly and ever increasing discomfort associated with it. Unfortunately, there is instead a need to do taxes, complete my July bar exam application, and no one in the house to assist in de-moping but two dogs and three cats. They try, but let's face it, by comparison, they suck.

I am thinking a castor oil cocktail. It is a little on the drastic side for me, but I don't get my water birth if they have to induce me, and I really want my water birth. So, after speaking with my doctor tomorrow, I may be swilling down a lovely castor oil and orange juice cocktail! Yummy!!!

It's cool and raining here, which beats the massive, record breaking heatwave we had back home the last time I was this pregnant. So that is something.

I'm in Labor!!

APRIL FOOLS!!

Nothing yet, will keep you posted.

Saturday, March 31, 2007

Hum de dum...

Still not in labor, still getting bigger every day.

The baby is so smushed at this point that his kicks are pathetic imitations of his once strong demands. He is folded up like a card table and begging to get out, and I would love to let him, but as of yet, we are not in agreement as to when he should arrive.

Tomorrow is the due date, if I awake on Monday and there is no baby, I expect tears. Lots of tears.

I'm too pregnant for this party...

No way I'm disco dancing!! Well, the due date rapidly approaches. Will Otter indeed be an April Fool's day baby? Will he spend his life loving or hating the oddness of his date of birth if he is? Will my stomach ever recover from his amazing growth?

He is Goliath! He is a big baby! However, I am going to be huge when I go into labor, so all is well. I can birth a giant child, I am a strong, well built, scandinavian lawyer! Nothing can stop me!! Monkey wasn't small and I survived, now it's time to birth her brother!

BTW, I will not be posting about the birth immediately after or during, but I will try and leave a voice mail message indicating that I am in labor. If you need to hear details before we contact you, you can call my mother, she is first on the call list, so y'all have my permission to call her to check on me. (Love ya Mom!!)

Hunger trumps exhaustion...

hmmm... this is a fun new twist!

It is 2:40 am and I am awake because I was too hungry to sleep through the night! Yes, despite my healthy dinner of a ham and turkey wrap on whole wheat multi-grain flat bread, my high in antioxidants dessert of vanilla ice cream and pomegranate sorbet, and my bedtime snack of groaning cake and a bowl of apple sauce, I am awake and starving!!

So a nice large bowl of Honey Nut Cheerios, and a large icy cold glass of milk later I am feeling the edge disappear from my hunger.

Now maybe I can go back to bed. Too bad I didn't wake up to, oh I don't know, Labor!!

Surprises for me!!

I was feeling very melancholy and exhausted yesterday. Ellen and I had made plans for her to come over and make a "Groaning Cake", which is a traditional cake for labor and birth. Since the hospital won't let us bake a cake while we are there, we decided to do it earlier and hope maybe it helped send me into labor, instead of easing my labor. However, I was feeling very tired so I called to reschedule our date.

I am so glad Ellen talked me out of rescheduling!

She arrived with the kids a little after four and had a surprise foot bath and pedicure planned in addition to the cake making. The kids played and I got pampered to the delicious smell of the cake in the oven. (I am eating a slice now, it is very good.) I even have pretty gold toenails, all shiny and sparkly!! Lee brought home chicken and we all ate dinner together. It was a really nice time.

Thank you Ellen!! There is something so meaningful about being unexpectedly pampered when you are pregnant. I feel so much better about the remaining weeks than I did before.

Alien refuses to leave mothership...

Still no baby here, though his family is certainly enjoying the alien moments created by his wiggles. He loves to give me crooked belly, and alien belly, and stick his foot out, etc. I can only be pregnant for so long before he gets here, so I am trying to be mellow about it all.

This weekend I was teasing Monkey by telling her that chocolate milk came from dark brown and light brown spotted cows from Wisconsin. She did not believe me and used the following phrase to create a majority over her father and I: "All of my stuffies and toys that have two eyes agree with me, so I win."

What could we say against that? It was a fairly compelling argument.

Today I went to the outlet mall with Ellen and Tiff and spent an obscene amount of money on a new summer wardrobe for a certain tall beauty whose most recent growth spurt rendered her current clothing stockpile virtually useless. She was appreciative. Oddly, while she is hugely independent on everything else, she is fine with me picking out her clothes. I guess they simply don't matter they much to her, or I have really good taste. I will go with the latter.

She and I both had a hard time with Nick's death today, I spent the early morning hours awake again, pacing the house and trying to stop dreaming about him. No nightmares this time, just dreams of the time we spent together before he died. Sadly, they wake me up as much as the nightmares do, since even in my sleep I seem to realize something is wrong and that realization pulls me from rest. I am becoming very friendly with the hours between 2 and 5 am.

Monkey spent the last half hour of her school day in tears, crying about how much she misses him. Unfortunately, she had a substitute, and she really didn't know what to do. I explained the situation again when I got to school and then made hot cocoa when we got home and we snuggled a little. Still, it is hard to explain this to her, because at 31 I don't know when I will begin to feel normal again, so how can I set expectations for my 5 year old?

I still feel like some kind of friendship amputee, I can still feel my friend, I can hear him, and I keep waiting for him to call me. He is never far from my thoughts, and it is very hard to get through a whole day without crying, or really wanting to, at least once. I haven't slept well in days. So how do I explain to Monkey that missing him is okay, feeling sad is okay, but being happy and forgetting about him is okay too? That she shouldn't be completely morose about his death? She doesn't have to remember him all the time in order to mourn him?

Hard conversations at our house lately. Tonight she asked if Nick was a ghost, I told her I didn't know. She said "I hope he is, because I really want to see him again." I suggested she talk to him, and told her some people believe people can hear us after they have passed away. She is currently in her room talking away, shedding some tears and hopefully learning how to cope. She is too small and too young to have to cope with this. He was a wonderful friend to her, I wish she had not lost him so early. Really big feelings are very scary and hard to deal with when one is so small.

Of course, this is hard to deal with even when one is big, so I can only try my best to answer her questions honestly, and be open to talking about him. That is the hardest part, whenever I seem to be having a day when he is not constantly on my mind, she brings him up, and there I am again, feeling like I could almost touch him, or hear him, and having to remember he is gone.

Still here... no baby...

One more day and still no baby!

Come ON people! Where is that birthing energy!? Let's get this show on the road!!

Happily, I finished the little knitted baby hat I was making for Otter, so now he really can arrive in style.

Out baby baby baby, Out baby baby baby

My birthing tub is here!

Okay, I can now go into labor anytime and have the birth experience I want. So, I need you all to chant with me "Come on out Otter, we want to meet you."

Thanks! There is no way he can ignore that!!

Nesting.... again.

Nesting...

I am so nesting. Yesterday I bought wood oil/soap and shined my floors with it. I swept and mopped and organized my house. Today I bought a new shelving unit and improved the cleanliness of the office.

You still can't eat off my floors, but then, with two dogs and three cats when can you ever? Besides, whenever I sweep and mop Bella follows me through the house shaking her fur everywhere. It's as though she needs a certain amount of her fur on the floor to feel comfortable. Sigh.

Fewer contractions today than yesterday, but the birthing tub I ordered is late in arriving so it's a good thing that I haven't begun to go into labor yet.

I have been on a massive shopping spree to stock up on Monkey entertainment devices for when Otter arrives. I have craft kits, paint sets, doll house toys, mini ball shooters, board games, and more. I have a box and a good portion of a shelf in my craft room designated as the "Monkey boredom prevention emergency supply center." Additionally I have stocked a drawer in the fridge with fruit and cheese snacks she can get herself, along with juice boxes. She should be set for snacks and entertainment while we all get used to the idea of Otter being around.

It is going to be interesting, she is so good with little babies, and so patient. However, this is not a cute baby that leaves soon after arriving, this is a brother. One of those loud, stinky, obnoxious creatures who takes your toys and tells your friends embarrassing things about you. (Sorry Shane, I promise that I do not feel this way about you any longer, even if you did eat a dog biscuit in front of Vargus the first time he came to our house.) I am assuming that she will eventually feel some competitiveness or resentment towards Otter, even if she is extra good with him in the beginning.

I am attempting to lessen any sense of being left out by providing her with many a thing to do, making sure she can get snacks and treats easily, and by working with Lee to give her one on one mommy time at least once a week for a few hours. I think we will be able to make it work.

We will find out soon, even I can't be pregnant forever!

Tic tic tic...

Odd looks...

As though I am a bomb about to go off... a dangerous instrumentality about to loose my destruction upon the world. Everywhere I go I run into people who look at me as if I am about to fall at their feet and give birth right then and there.

Grocery store employees appear nervous around me, medical personnel behave as though they might be fated to deliver my baby in the Dunkin Donuts over lunch.

Of course, even Lee stares at the size of this baby belly of mine and says "My god, you are sooo big. I don't think you can do another two weeks of this."'

Today at the doctor's appointment my OB asked me how large Monkey was while he measured my belly. "9 lbs, 1 and 1/2 ounces" I said. He looked at me and responded, while feeling the baby's back and feet under my skin. "Good, cause this is one big baby."

He is though, I can feel his head, his feet, his little bottom. He is easily going to avoid all the lovely 0-3 month clothing everyone so lovingly bought him and jump straight into 3-6 month. Of course, so did Monkey. I never used newborn diapers with her, as they were too small when she was a newborn.

Of course, I am a little nervous about having a larger than average baby, but the again, no one has ever called me petite. I am a larger than average woman. If there is one thing my gene's do well, it's grow and birth big healthy babies. (I am Scandinavian, here me roar!)

Well this ticking time bomb is off to bed! Sleep well.

almost there...

We are closer!!

Yes! I went to the doctor and finally, FINALLY, all the contractions I have been having are starting to do thier job. I am starting to dialate. I am effacing. I am going to have a baby! Soon!! Maybe even by the due date!!! Stuff is happening!!

YAY!

Hungry now, must go eat. Again.

Still waiting after all these months...

The final weeks of pregnancy are doing something strange to my mind. I am so completely ready to have this baby. I have had visions of bouncing up and down on a pogo stick, going jeeping on off country roads (bouncy ones), and doing just about anything else you can think of to have this kiddo NOW!! (Okay, not anything, but anything healthy and natural.)

Of course, as a serious type A personality and a proponent of natural childbirth, I have been reading several different books on the biology of birth and the history of birth. I have learned that many of the medical techniques used by doctors for the past several hundred years were started not because they were the best thing for the woman or baby, but because they were best for someone else. (Color me unsurprised) The result of all this education? I have come to see my husband as a potential source of labor induction.

Bring on those prostaglandins baby!! (Note: This is not an effective pick up line, though it did make him laugh.)

All joking aside, despite our culture's reservations about tying anything sexual to the process of birth, women who enjoy an active sex life during pregnancy are more likely to birth close to their due date, instead of going over. (My due date is soon... please god may I birth close to my due date.) This is in part due to the oxytocin released by nipple stimulation, which helps encourage labor, and is also in part due to the introduction of prostaglandins from the semen, which help the cervix soften and efface. Human semen is the most concentrated source of prostaglandins, which is the labor inducing substance synthetically reproduced in Cytotec. However, unlike Cytotec, Human prostaglandins do not contribute to hyperstimulation of the uterus, hemorraging, and at times, death. (Now that's fun!)

Oh honey... -eyebrow wiggle- What's a handsome prostaglandin producing man like you doing in a place like this?

Yes, even the largest, most pregnant woman in the world (today that would be me) can drum up a semblance of sexual desire, if it means her term of months may come to an end sooner rather than later. Of course, there are other benefits to natural labor induction, such as sex, so it's not as though it is a trivail to try this natural method of birth encouragement. After all, it's what got us here in the first place isn't it?

Hmmm.... sex AND natural labor induction without the risk of pain or death?? What a quaint notion. Hey honey... let's go light some candles.

updates

We had our 37 week appointment today, not much going on, still only dialated to 1 centimeter. However, the baby seems healthy, the hearbeat is strong, and I seem healthy, so all is well.

Soon, soon we will have baby!!

So ready to pop!

Nine months is one month too many!!

Okay, I understand that creating human life is a beautiful and sacred thing, I get that it takes a long time to grow a human from an egg and a sperm. I get that the awesome power of birth is central to the most contentious political arguments in our culture.

However, I also can't get off my couch anymore, or walk through the grocery store without availing myself of their bathroom. I can't do anything without getting heartburn and my hips are letting me know what life at 110 is going to feel like. I understand that I should feel lucky to be a woman, and not an elephant, but really, nine months is one month too long!!

I am ready for pants that have zippers, the occasional beer, and a frickin pile of sushi! I am ready for lying flat on my back or stomach!

Why does our culture breed an expectation for an attitude of peaceful joy during pregnancy? I don't feel calm, I feel impatient! I want to hold my baby, and get him out of me!! Most women I speak with sympathize with this sense of the final month taking for-frickin-ever, but we still have this image of the lovely pregnant woman peacefully eating her way through an entire chocolate cake and loving every crumbly minute. Where are the complaints? I don't have gooey chocolate love, I have uncomfortable heartburny indulgence!! There is a foot permanently lodged in my stomach making chocolatey goodness my enemy!

Not to mention that I can no longer reach half my dishes, or half the stuff on grocery store shelves. Emptying a grocery cart is an acrobatic feat beyond my normal level of physical ability, and I can't walk through any opening smaller than a banquet hall! I bump my 'bump' against everything that comes near it, and then moan because it's extra sensitive to the touch!

Ugh. I feel like a huge mammoth beast, waddling towards my own self destruction. I don't feel like a glowing serene woman on the verge of a miracle. I feel like a harried, tired, beached mammal trying desperately to feed and care for her current calf while preparing for the existence of another.

Moo.

Not really baby blues.....

More like baby shock. As the day of Otter's arrival approaches, I keep getting these flashes of reality... I am having a baby. Another person. Who will he be? What will he be like?

There is something disconcerting about growing someone inside your body for nine months and still knowing very little about him. It seems as though I should have a very in depth knowledge of this little guy, and while I know we are already bonded, and that this bond will continue to grow, it still feels strange to think I will be meeting him for the first time in about a month.

I remember when Monkey was born, I had a similar reaction. After months of singing to her, reading to her, playing music into my belly, my first reaction after her birth was surprise. "Oh that's a baby.... Oh fuck that's MY baby!!" I looked at her little face and held her warm little body and thought "How?"

Of course, then she was in my arms and snuggled up to my breast nursing and I felt that special bond. It is still here, stronger than ever, a connection she and I have that no one else shares. It is precious, and wonderful. I have often wondered how I can have another similar connection with another person when the one I have with her is so intense and deep.

I guess I am going to find out in about a month! I am sure it will be a similar experience with Otter, I will experience a moment of disconnect and then all the bonded mommy/baby feelings will come rushing in. I can't wait to hold him, and hear him cry, and be able to wear pants with a zipper. I want to find out if he is funny, like his sister, or serious, or what he is going to like or dislike.

It is so strange, this creating life thing.

Here are some recent baby belly photos:

This one really shows how big I have gotten! And he still has to grow by several more pounds! Ack!

Love to all of you! Soon there will be pictures of him, without the belly!
