fdispj aeipi .... snork

It's official. My son gets up around 6 in the morning. That seems to be his routine, and therefore, mine. sob

The problem? I am a night person. I can't seem to get myself to bed before midnight. Between my own idiocy and his all night nurse fests, I don't think I sleep more than about four, maybe four and a half hours.

I think I may be doing long term damage to my brain.

If YOU'RE doing long term damage to your brain, what have I done to my own?!

Oooh. Don't answer that!

However, I am with you in Sleepless Solidarity! I now go to fetch twins.

Mmmmwah!

Sleep deprivation can manifest itself like mental illness. http://www.newscientist.com/article/mg19626275.500-lack-of-sleep-is-a-lot-like-mental-illness.html

You've known this anecdotally since college, I'm sure - but now! now it's in a magazine. And magazine publishers would never print anything but the truth, right? :)

my youngest brother was born with a weird clock. he liked to go to bed at 6 pm and wake up around 4 am. he is pushin 30 now... same crazy sleep schedule. at least it's really nice in the work and school world.

i don't know how my mom coped all those years... she had two other children that were night owls, she must have been surviving on five or six hours a night!

oh, wait, i remember how she coped! my parents put a lock on the outside of his door (ped suggestion) and locked him in at night until 6 am or so.

My kids are up @ 7 daily. The computer keeps me up until 1. My under eye circles are getting darker and darker.

I am so happy that the new 'in' make-up look is the smudgy charcoal under the eyes look. That way I can hide my sleep shadows more effectively!

I don't know how you do it! I need to go to bed by 10:00 or else I am useless.
